This show is probably best know as being Janie Turner's first series. Janie played a wheelchair bound star of the show-within-a-show. This was a spoof of soap operas much like "The Larry Sanders Show" was a spoof of late night talk shows. Speaking of late night talk shows, this series was one of many pre-David Letterman attempts by CBS to compete with "The Tonight Show" with Johnny Carson.
