...Erica's patient has same last name as neurosurgeon in S3E12 who claims is not Dr. Tom? Wexler, in S4E11 Erica even says patient's patiens are high achievers, type A personality which would fit perfectly. Coincidence or not?

Figures. Runaway, rocky relation with parents etc. What would be interesting to observe is when she is sent back in time to fix regrets how will this effect (future) Dr. Tom. If changes are radical enough Tom's life would be different and he may not even be in place to become a doctor, thus changing Erica's life as well.
Though I doubt show will touch on this.
EDIT: This also explains why Dr. Nadia was so determined to see Dr. Tom retire. She didn't want him around when her daughter was being treated as he wouldn't be able to stay away and would keep butting in on Erica.

Dr Nadia was not determined for time Dr Tom to retire. In fact, it seemed that she was sad to see him go. retiring was clearly his idea. Dr Nadia even emphasized that if he were to leave that he could never come back, so that he could consider his decision to leave very carefully. Dr Nadia thinks it is possible for Tom to have a good life and be a good doctor. She showed him her life as an example in a previous episode.
