One of the things I like about Ben 10 is the decent, above average writing. Characters are credible, grow, have interesting subplots, etc. It's a good show.
Then this episode came along. I don't know if the writing team changed, they wanted a light-hearted break, or the production team changed, but it was a weird change of tone, and was devoid of the intelligence and characters that make the show great.
Kevin, to put is simply, is evil in this episode. The team goes to a planet of Looney Toons, and Kevin partners with a weapons dealer. Ben is a sanctimonious jerk. And they fail to solve any issues.moreless

Also, although Ben calls Lodestar "a new guy", he already turned into him at the end of "War of the Worlds". -
Apparently on Probity's planet, everyone shakes with the left hand.
So when Ben shook hands with his right hand, Probity said that he ruined everything.
