. Ben encounters the turtle-like alien Galapagus(a.k.a. Terraspin) who was on a rampage to find Ben. He escaped from Aggregor and tells Ben how he ended up captured alongside four other aliens in a plot to permanently absorb their powers and abilities. Galapagus ended up telling Ben how he, Bivalvan, Andreas, Ra'ad, and P'andor escaped from Aggregor when Magister Prior Ghilhil answered the distress call and did an inspection which ended with Magister Prior Ghilhil getting knocked out by Aggregor. Though the aliens escaped from Aggregor's spaceship, they crash-landed on Earth. After Ben's Ultimatrix scans Galapagus' DNA, he arranges for the Plumbers to get Galapagus back to his home planet. Unfortunately for Galapagus, Aggregor was posing as a Plumber and recaptures him.moreless

Trivia, Notes, Quotes and Allusions

FILTER BY TYPE

  • TRIVIA (6)

    • Alien Forms Used:

      1) Four Arms
      2) Brainstorm
      3) Big Chill
      4) Ultimate Big Chill

    • When the aliens are shown in the Ultimatrix, Alien X is seen completely green.

    • Much like with Bivalvan, Ben does not use Galapagus's form in the same episode he obtains it.

    • When Aggregor attacks the aliens, Galapagus is briefly seen with an Omnitrix symbol on his chest. Dwayne McDuffie reveals this was an intentional easter egg.

Note from the actual Dwayne McDuffie: "I said nothing of the sort. It was a production error."

    • It's revealed in this episode that NRG can't use the fullest extent of his powers while he's inside his heatproof suit, he can only heat the suit itself up to dangerous temperatures.

    • The five aliens captured by Aggregor each possess an elemental power: Bivalvan: water, Galapagus: wind, P'andor: fire, Andreas: earth, and Ra'ad: electricity.

  • QUOTES (4)

    • (the five aliens reach the bridge of Aggregor's ship)
Aggregor: When Osmosians absorb the energy of other life forms, we only gain 1/10 of that creature's abilities, but I have a better way. I've built a machine back on my home planet that will allow me to absorb all of your powers. Now that this little diversion has ended, that is precisely where we are headed.
(the aliens discover their powers aren't working and see that Galapagus is holding Aggregor's power neutralizer)
Andreas: Turtle Face stole our powers?
Aggregor: Turtle Face neutralized your powers. I am going to steal them.
(Aggregor's robotic soldiers subdue the aliens)
      P'andor: (to Galapagus) Traitor!
Aggregor: Once I have all your powers combined, nothing will stop me from obtaining the ultimate prize.
Galapagus: Except me. You promised to release me if I helped you capture the others.
      Aggregor: I lied.
      (he prepares to attack Galapagus)
Galapagus: What a coincidence. I lied, too.
(Galapagus blows the power neutralizer into Aggregor, knocking him out, then blows away the robotic soldiers)
      Bivalvan: I'm following that guy.

    • (after Bivalvan breaks himself and the others out of their cell and restores their powers)
      P'andor: Our powers are back!
      Bivalvan: You're welcome.
      (he leaves the cell)
      Galapagus: I'm following that guy.

    • Ra'ad: Out of my way, P'andor. I'm the leader here.
      P'andor: You're not my leader!

    • Andreas: Andreas is strong. He can bust out of wall!
P'andor: No, you can't. Not as long as that thing's suppressing our powers. Think!
Andreas: Ohh, I don't like to think!

  • NOTES (2)

    • While fighting Galapagus, Kevin and Gwen bring up the baby alien from "Unearthed" and the dragon from "Be-Knighted".

    • Ben gains a new alien in this episode, which brings the amount of aliens Ben can turn into up to 17 (not including Ben's ultimate forms, if you do include them, it brings it up to 34).

  • ALLUSIONS (2)

    • Andreas: Name
Andreas's name derives from the San Andreas Fault located throughout the state of California. This fault line is known for causing the many earthquakes felt in the state, referencing Andreas's ability to use his drills to create small earthquakes when attacking.

    • Galapagus: Name

Galapagus' name is a play on the Galapagos Islands, a region known for having lots of turtles.
