    • Gwen: You're supposed to be Plumbers now. I thought you two were better than this! Octagon: Beggin' your pardon, but we ain't never been better than anything.

    • Will Harangue: Once again, NASA has reported sighting an incoming meteor heading straight for Earth at an unbelievable speed. Scientists worry that the impact could cause major disruptions to climate. Huh, there we go. Next thing you know, they'll be using it as an excuse to raise taxes!

    ADD ALLUSIONS
    • When Magister Battaliday finally shows himself at the end of the episode, he is a fish alien that talks like Don Knotts, and is wearing glasses. The movie The Incredible Mr. Limpet starred Don Knotts, and was about a man who turned into a glasses-wearing fish.

    • The Piscciss Volann (Ripjaws species) plumber who comes out of the ocean resembles the fish version of The Incredible Mr. Limpet.

    • Ma Vreedle: And I woulda gotten away with it too, if it weren't for my meddlin' kids! This is a reference to the Scooby-Doo cartoon, where the unmasked villains usually say something to that effect.
