  • Trivia

    • Alien forms used:
      1) Terraspin
      2) NRG
      3) Way Big

    • When Way Big was in the Pacific Ocean the water height changed from his knees, to his ankles, to his feet.

    • In one scene, when Terraspin in rapid spinning form was battling the Mutant Seagulls, his Ultimatrix symbol on his chest had no black color.

    • The depth of the Pacific Ocean should be about 7 miles deep, but Way Big (who is about 200 feet tall) stood in it, the water goes up to his knees.

    • In one scene, the side of Terraspin's shell was the same color as his skin.

    • The two television shows Kevin can't remember the name to are Captain Planet and the Planeteers and The X-Files.

    • The Rust Bucket, which was destroyed in the previous episode, has been rebuilt by Kevin. Kevin also mentions that he has added some new weapons to the craft.

    • Waybig is revealed to possess super speed. This is the first time this alien form has displayed this power.

  • Quotes

    • Kevin: (mimicking a television announcer) Once again, peace is restored to the planet, thanks in no small part to the efforts of our hero, Kevin Levin. (notices the other staring) ...And friends.

    • Kevin: If only we had power rings, like on that show that I can't remember the name of. They could harness their rings with the power to recycle, or clean power, or something. Anyways, it was awesome! (pause) You're not listening to me, are you?
Gwen: Nobody's ever listening to you.

    • Government Agent: Standard operating procedure is to show up unannounced, then demand you come with us. But we know we're dealing with Ben Tennyson, so we're asking: will you please come with us?

  • Notes

  • Allusions

    • This is very similar to the Generator Rex episode Waste Land. The plots have a number of similarities for example: the Description of the Area being made entirely out of Garbage and twice the size of Texas is the same. Both the plots involved Ships mysteriously disappearing, and Both the plots involve a major ecological disaster (other than the formation of the garbage island itself).

    • If you listen, the mutant seagulls roar like Anguirus, a monster from the Godzilla Japanese film series.

    • Way Big raising out of water, near a bridge to battling a giant opponent is similar to Way Big about to battle Evil Way Big in Cosmic Destruction.

    • Kevin mentions that the appearance and mannerisms of Agent Locke and Agent Bricen remind him of yet another television series he watched as a child. This is most likely a reference to the 1990's series, The X-Files, which featured a red-haired female government agent with a male partner who believed in conspiracy theories.

    • Agents Locke and Bricen are parodies of Agents Mulder and Scully, from The X-Files.

    • Kevin: What was the name of that show? Was it "Earthman", or "Major Green", or something like that?

The eco-friendly cartoon Kevin refers to is Captain Planet and the Planeteers.

    • Though he cannot remember the name of the series, Kevin mentions a children's cartoon series which featured teenagers fighting polluters while using magic rings. The series he is referring to is Captain Planet and the Planeteers, which was created by Ted Turner in the early 1990's.
