The Sludge Puppies were not surprised with Gwen's magical powers. It is likely that they thought she was the descendant of an alien, as was revealed in Ben 10: Alien Force.
When Joel's parents were threatening Cannon Bolt, Max just said he might be telling the truth. Why didn't he trust them to the fact Cannon Bolt is Ben with the Omnitrix?
Credits Tidbit: During the end credits, B.J. Ward is incorrectly listed as voicing the Groom's Father instead of the Groom's Mother.
Camille's Mother: (to Heat Blast) You irritating pest! You must be from the groom's side of the family!
Camille: This is supposed to be my special day. (changes to mud form) And no is going to ruin it. Especially my family! (jumps into the fray) Joel: (overjoyed) She is going to be my wife!
Heat Blast: (to Camille's parents) Aren't you guys a little old to be playing with mud?
Ben: (dancing with Gwen) This is so gross! Gwen: Like I don't know that?
Gwen: You trust me to help kick alien butt, so why won't you trust me to teach you how to dance? Ben: Because you're probably just going to trick me into looking like some kind of dancing doofus. Gwen: You don't need my help to dance like a doofus.
Gwen: (watching Ben dance) You look like your underwear is too tight.
Ben: Maybe you should put the wedding off until after the summer. That should give you plenty of time to find a new ring bearer.
Gwen: I know how to dance. I can teach you. Ben: Yeah. I'll think about it. NOT!
Gwen: It's too quiet. Where's Ben?
Ben: Dance?! I don't know how to dance! Joel: Well, you'd better learn. You don't want to look like a mega-dweeb out there in front of everybody.
Ben: (after watching the two families fight) Maybe this won't be so boring after all.
Grandpa Max: This tux is a family heirloom. I wore it when I was a kid, and then your dad wore it, and now you're wearing it. Ben: Oh, lucky me.
Ben: The only thing worse than going to a stupid, old, boring wedding, is being in a stupid, old, boring wedding.
Gwen: Better loosen that bow tie, Grandpa. Ben's brain needs all the oxygen it can get.
(Cannon Bolt craws out of the lake and finds himself facing weapons) Cannon Bolt: Boy, the lifeguards around here are really strict!
(Camille's parents see Heat Blast) Camille's Mother: Another wedding crasher? Why do we even bother sending out invitations?
Mud Alien: (seeing Diamond Head) A Petrosapien? What are you doing here? Diamond Head: Uh, friend of the groom? Mud Alien: Then you're no friend of mine!
Diamond Head: (points arms at woman) Sorry lady. I thought you were a butt-ugly alien.
This is a family wedding for Ben's Uncle Joe, but for some reason we don't even see Ben's family there nor Gwen's family there.
Main Villain(s): The Sludge Puppies.
Gwen took dance lessons for three years.
At the wedding, Ben was the ring bearer and Gwen was supposed to be the flower girl, but Lucy took the job.
Camille's Sludge Puppy form looks very similar to Xylene's from "The Visitor." It is also similar to Blackarachnia's form in Beast Machines, minus the stingers.
The female Sludge Puppies have whisker-like things, and the males have none.
Alien Form(s) Used: 1) Cannon Bolt. 2) Diamond Head. 3) Heat Blast.
Diamond Head is revealed to be a Petrosapien. "Petro" means "rock," and "sapien" means "intelligent being" or "humanoid."
This is the second time that Cannon Bolt's alien species is mentioned as Arburian Pelarota, the first time being in "The Big Tick."
Ben's family is obviously knowledgeable about aliens and their species. It is also revealed that Ben's cousin Joel and his parents are involved with the Plumbers as well.
Plumbers: Weapons The 'expanding' weapons Max gives to the groom's parents during the wedding crash are similar to "The Ghost Peeler" from Danny Phantom.
Lucy: Appearance Lucy's appearance resembles her as "Kitty" from Teen Titans in the episode, "Date with Destiny."
Episode Plot: Romeo and Juliet The plot of this episode is very similar to that of the play by William Shakespeare, in which the children of two opposing families fall in love and decide to be wed to end the disputes. The only difference is that Romeo and Juliet die.
Episode Title: Big Fat Alien Wedding This episode's title is a take on the movie title, My Big Fat Greek Wedding.
