Ben 10

These last two episodes have really shown the progress of the writing in Ben 10; hopefully this isn't an anomaly and is a constant. The parallels of Ben/Gwen and Mandy/Andy in the beginning of the show was pretty nice to see just because Ben and Gwen's relationship so far hasn't been too terribly creative outside of jabs and insults to each other and this provided something more. Though the episode kind of abandoned the idea the later half, not sure what happened there. There's a nice sequence of Gwen leading Mandy, Andy, and Gilbert to battle the mushrooms which was pretty entertaining, though the villain overall felt really uninspiring. A giant mushroom? Though the villains other than a selectable few in this show so far have all been uninspiring, and if this episode meant to sacrifice all of that half assed build up of those antagonists to build up its writing and development, I'd make that trade all the time.

The camper that Grandpa Max almost ran over named Gilbert got on my nerves with all his screaming. That was so annoying to here throughout the whole show. The twins were cute though and the fact that Gwen fought a bit in this episode was pretty cool too. I loved the new alien it was so cool. He did not name it though I was so looking forward to that part. Funny ending too, the way they defeated the enemy alien and all. Fungal powder who would have thought. I hope to see the new alien in other upcoming episodes too it looked real cool.

This episode is somewhat better than the previous few, though it hasn't reached the breakthrough I expected of a second season yet. The idea of a horror camp isn't amplified enough, but I love the idea of vegetation taking over a camp and then the world. The part about bickering is well done too, with Ben and Gwen and later the twins quarrelling as well. Grandpa Max appeared very emotionless in this episode, but that's not uncommon. The appearance of a new alien hero is naturally a great thing. I do wonder what this new alien hero, Wildvine, can do in the future.

Distracted by Ben and Gwen quarreling, Max almost hits a young camper on the road. They take the boy back to his camp, Camp Opinicon, only to find no one there. As they investigate the premises, they find two more children, twins, who are hiding from something that caused the camp to become deserted. Max is captured by tendrils while he investigates, prompting Ben and Gwen to split up. While Gwen leads the campers to safety from fungal mutants, Ben attempts two failed rescue missions, getting captured on the second. In trying to escape, Ben unlocks a new alien form, a plant-like alien named Wildvine; however, even Wildvine cannot defeat the brain that controls the fungal creatures. Fortunately, Ben drops an antifungal drug onto the brain and causes it and its minions to wither. Ben and Gwen spread more of the antifungal powder on its tendrils and save the camp.

this is another episode where ben gets a new alien unlocked from the omitrix: WILDVINE! a cool alien that can do alot of things that plants do! the camp omicon (or some thing like that)...is being attacked by evil killer alien plants! that are going to destroy the earth!!! ben must save! the kid GILBERT is awesome! he screams alot and its funny! he even looks funny to! this is a realy cool episode with the aliens: XLR8, CANNONBOLT, WILDVINE AND WILDMUTT! GREAT EPISODE! has a lot of funny parts too! the new alien is real cool and so is this episode!

I like this episode okay. The only parts I didn't like were when Ben and Gwen fight over their birthday coming up in a few months. They also fought over a flashlight and a towel. I didn't like those parts at all. I also loved the new alien, Wildvine. That's a cool alien!

I loved this episode ALOT! it had a very clever plot. The idea of missing campers and mushroom monsters are great! I found it one of thy most greatest eps. in Ben 10 story. It teaches people of sharing and I find that very important(But im bad a sharing) lesson. Another thin i loved about this episode was how Gwen and the campers think of ways to get from place to place. Also the release of a new alien was AWESOME! I love Wild Vine and that was one of the reasons why i loved the episode so much. Clever and smart!

This episode was very interesting and very funny. My favorite scenes include: Ben and Gwen constantly fighting over which day they would celebrate their birthday, Ben and Gwen constantly fighting over stupid matters, Ben eating the spaghetti when the lights go out, Gwen explaining to Ben the definition of twins, and the scene where Andy tries to save Mandy by throwing his skates at the plant. I thought it was funny when Mandy fell on Andy and his hair was askew when he sat up. The only part I didn't care for was the scene where Wildvine killed the Fungal Brain with the athletes foot powder.

While driving on a mountain pass Ben and Gwen argue out who going to get to celebrate who's birthday on the actual day as both of them share the same date.



Ben conveniently get athlete's foot so that Granpa Max can administrate the plot device for saving the day, i.e. anti-fungi powder.



So nearly ran down a camper, find out something is wrong at the camp, drive to the camp, find tons of fungi all over the place, find 2 other survivors, fight off hordes of Mushroom men, discover a new Alien form, use athlete's foot power to kill of the fungi, eat mushroom pizza.



Now comes the darker aspect of the show. Gilbert and the twins mention several times throughout the show that the other campers and adults were captured. Later, the fungi brain before deciding to snack down on Granpa Max tells Ben he used them all as food. Yup, although the show doesn't talk about it or dwell on it too long, a lot of people die in it. Like the campers it was boys, girls and the adults.



This is probably the reason like to watch Ben 10. They laid out there for you. Sure it is not explicit but just enough that you understand that when they mention this is a 'life and death' battle they mean it.

Ben gets another new form!



In this episode Ben (and the viewers) are introduced to Wildvine, a plant-like new alien on his Omnitrix. He makes good use of the alien and its powers.



There's a great amount of suspension of disbelief in this episode when its revealed that Ben and Gwen share the same birthday. I found that suspicious and way too coincidental. The villain the gang runs into is nothing new or anything to talk about. It's another Galactus like entity who wants to devour the world (like The Great One in the episode "The Big Tick". In fact, Ben gets a new form in that episode too)



All in all, this was a fine episode that introduced us to a new alien, one I hope to see in many future episodes.

This is episode was great. Ben gets a plant like alien add to the watch, The powers of the new alien was cool, It can grow any part of his body at will and it has regenerable explosive seed pods on his back. The fight between the plant boss thing and ben was great. The mushrooms enemies in this episode were pretty cool looking and Gwen was a hero during this episode. Ben talking to the plant enemy in this episode was pretty cool. Overall I would say that the episode was great and I hope Ben 10 keeps up the great episodes.

well, well, well. here we are introduced to the weed wildvine.

this episode is ok. not my favorite though. fungus attacks a camp. how exciting. there is a fat kid and two twins. what really is making me mad is that ben keeps killing the big enemy in a retarted way. this time he throws foot medicine into the shrooms mouth. wow. I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I

This was a good episode. It was really funny with the whole evil mushrooms, that was good. One think that I didn't like was how the kept fighting over thier birthday but in the end nothing really happened about it. I was also shocked to see a new alien form. The new alien form looks reall cool, thumbs up for whoever made him! His powers were really good too. The way Ben defeated the huge fungus was funny, throwing power into it. Overall, a really good and funny episode. The new alien rocks and I can't wait to see him in action again!

This show was the bomb I like when Ben found out that he can turn into Wild Vine.Also the part when Gwen and the little kids had to fight thier way to safety.Even when Grampa Max almost ran the kid over that was not cool.But the cool part was when Ben went Cannon Bolt and save the kid from falling.THe funny part is when Ben and Gwen was fighting over the blanket and thier are the two other kids shareing thiers.The most funnys part was when the kids screamed like little girls.But at the end it looked like Gwen and Ben was high

While Ben and Gwen argue about their birthday, Max almost hits a boy named Gilbert from a camp named Opinicon. As they explore the situation in the camp, they find two more kids hiding in the mess hall, twins named Andy and Mandy. It seems that the camp has been abandoned due to something that scared the people off. They were ready to leave the premises, but sure enough, the RV's engine was clogged with some sort of fungus. Max tells the kids to shelter in the cabin while he tries to find something for them to eat. Though the kids are safe, Grandpa Max finds himself captured by alien mushrooms, and it looks like Ben is there to save the day. He heads down to look for him, and this time, he encounters a new alien form, a giant alien myceloid, and finds a softer part towards his cousin... perhaps only for a limited time?

This show was the best! I love the action and the learning how to get along.Specialy if your Birthday is on the day day.But it does teach one another about sharing and understanding about getting along even if you do not like it at all.When I watch the show,I saw the twins (boy and girl)working together and then almost in the end they stated to dislike there working out,Gwen told them your family and learning to get along even if you might disagree about it.Learning is the key to understanding and knowing. Helping each other and trusting it the key.

I liked this episode a lot. The mushrooms were a little strange...pretty strange cause I had mushrooms the night this aired!! Well anyways, there are many aspects of this episode I liked, a brand new alien. He has pretty cool powers, but looks too much like a plant thingy. I have a pretty new theory about when Ben gets new aliens, this probably already has been suggested, but hey, I just thought about it, maybe the new aliens that Ben turns into depends on his situation, and the material, (maybe) that he is touching...I'll have to watch "The Tick" again, though. Gwen gets more annoying too, (in my opinion!)
