I shall withhold my opinion until I see this show firsthand.

Why doesn't everyone at least give the spin-off a chance?I thought this show sounded stupid when I saw commercials for it.How many people honestly thought they were going to like this show when it first came out?

I did. It was the first CN show with good animation in years.

I comletly agree. Everything else they've made, and even some things they haven't, in recent years hasn't been very good.

I think that most people, or at least my self, are saying they don't think this show will be good or do well, but are going to at least watch the pilot.

Just as with the TT fan rancor over the then-new Ben 10 show, so too is there B10 fan rancor over new spinoffs/movies. It happens. New fans are garnered, old fans may be lost, and life moves on.

Hero Generation cannot possibly be any worse than Hero High, and so (since my standards are low) I have high hopes for it.

Also... As fans of the show and franchise we're allowed to express our concerns over the series.

I for one have faith... but it doesn't stop the ideas from sounding stupid. Yes, I get very protective... but wherever the series goes is where it goes.

And as far as Ben 10 from the begining... I knew I was gonna like it as soon as i saw it HOWEVER back in July 05 'when I only had a title to go on and no premise my first thought was like "omg what is this rhyming crap?" XD

People are allowed to have objective opinions... wether we love or hate it in the end is a different matter , so the people who are all "shutup and give it a chance" should do well to close their traps as well.

even if the movie does kill the series, the movie will have to be pretty cool if it's live action.  even tho it'll be comp. generated, it'll still look really, well, um, real, i think, idk what i'm saying

A sequel series? Hm. I'll see it before I decide what to think of it.

I'll hold off on judgement. But all this sounds like too much, too soon. It might be a hueg flop.

I, for one, can't give an absolute opinion. It's way too early to judge it. I mean come on, 2008? That's a long way from now. It's understood that we are not all the same in our views, but it is as what spiked_warrior says, we all have the right to speak out.

Live-action? I'd love to see how the story goes.

Animated movie? Sounds like an excellent plot.

    Hero Generation? Hmmmm... we'll see.

Enjoy what's on now, worry the upcoming details later. Viewers have a great impact. Cartoon Network is always on the road for ideas, especially from us.

I hope they make anime version of Ben 10[maybe with BONES, creators of FMA and Eureka 7, or XEBEC, creators of Zoids and Negima 1st Series].

It this going to turn into an X-men rip off? I think it is going to well, but somehow It won't be as good.

Also is isn't a Ben 10 anime a bit redundant, I mean, It is already like an anime. I would be like an Avatar anime, not much change there, or at least I can't tell the difference.

You know what I'd like? If the kids were aliens of the same species that are in the Omnitrix. I don't think I'd like to see other kids with their own Omnitrixes. It just doesn't seem right to me.

Bu I do agree with most of you about Ben 10's anime look, just look at Gwen, she looks similar to Eureka from Eureka Seven and that one girl from Pani Poni Dash.

Maybe a new series is bad, but they should maybe give Ben a girlfriend[an allie], now that would spice up anger in Gwen[she's Ben's cousin, it usually spices stuff up].

I'm OK with a live action movie (depending on the casting, effects, etc) if it is done right.

    All for an animated movie.

This spin off series sounds bad. I think they kinda need to follow the Naruto "spin-off" aka Hurricane Chronicals. Not a spin off but a sequel.

All of Ben 10 takes place during a summer right? Well Gwen and Ben need to go back to school. Have maybe one or two eps of Ben back at school. Then start up a series of the Next summer. Ben, Gwen and Grandpa hit the road again. More traveling more aliens etc.

If it has the same animation, and hopefully the same writers, it can't be too bad. If they don't bung up the unique style of Ben 10, I'll like it. And no, I didn't expect to like Ben 10 at all. Anything with a chance for new story lines is a good,,, sometimes bad chance,,, but still a chance.
