  • New enemy?

Ben 10 vs. Kevin 11? Looks like the formation of a new formidable foe, and it came with its own set of cliches too. Similar age to the main character, similar personality (rebellious youth who likes causing trouble and listens to no one), similar powers (well at least when the episode ended), and just slightly more evil. Original? Not by a long shot. So what good did the episode do exactly? For one the theme of listening to your elders was decently executed, and it so far has the best fight in the whole show thus far; that battle under the bridge was pretty well choreographed. Overall though, pretty average considering everything.
  • good episode.

Straying from Max after an argument, Ben meets and befriends a boy named Kevin, who has the power to absorb any form of energy. Their first misadventure forces Ben to reveal what the Omnitrix is capable of. Kevin suggests that they team up. However, Kevin just wants the Omnitrix's power at his disposal; being treated like a monster for his strange powers since birth, Kevin had let hatred build up in his heart and is now out to get back at those who had hurt him. Ben attempts to reason with Kevin but ends up fighting him as Heatblast, at which point Kevin escapes and Max finds Ben. Ben finds Kevin terrorizing some bullies with energy stolen from Heatblast and fights him as Fourarms. Ben defeats Kevin this time, forcing him to flee. Unknown to Ben, however, Kevin had absorbed energy from the Omnitrix after all.
  • Ben meets Kevin, another weird guy like him.

The likelihood of Ben meeting another boy with extreme powers is next to nil, but meet he did. Kevin in this episode symbolises the rebellious side of Ben, craving for attention and fame by resorting to bad stuff. Ben learns from his mistake just in time, but must fight his own evil side before he can save everyone. Yes, the one that he is actually fighting is himself, not Kevin, represented by his repetition of Grandpa Max's words to him about his lack of care. Kevin is just a flesh version of his inner self, which he must face before becoming a better person, and a better superhero. Very insightful indeed, this episode.
  • Ben must fight an eleven year old named Kevin 11, who can absorb any power - even that of the Omnitrix.

This has got to be one of the best episodes of the whole first season! Kevin 11 is so awesome! I think his power to absorb all power is really cool. My favorite scenes include: Stinkfly and Kevin running away from the police helicopters, the fighting scene in the train station, and the scene where XLR8 helps Kevin 11 by beating up those bullies. Kevin 11 is really cool because he is sort of like Ben's equal. I know that he will be around for the rest of the series and will be shown in several more episodes to come.
  • one of the best episodes

this is one of the best episodes of ben 10 yet ben gets mad at his grand father but its not his grand fathers fault it was bens they were checking in a hotel and ben breaked in a room and played the new sumo slammers game thn he goes to the arcade and meets a guy he befriended him and started to hang out but then they break in a bulding full of sumo slammer games and the police catch them but they escape then kevin apsorbes bens powers and now can turn into any of the 10 monsters
  • This episode is OK.

I like this episode all right. It is pretty boring when Ben and Grandpa Max get into a HUGE argument over what happened at the hotel. It's also boring when Gwen tries to order Ben back to the RV before Max gets mad, but Ben ignores her every order. When he meets Kevin, he wanders out into the city with Kevin. This also happens after his argument with Grandpa Max. Ben and Kevin become friends for a while, but then they become rivals. In the end, Grandpa Max accepts Ben's apology, but he tells Ben that he has to earn back Max's trust.
  • In this episode, Ben and Grandpa are having a HUGE conflict over what happened at a hotel. Then, Ben wants to be on his own and to get what he wants. He goes looking for just that when he meets Kevin.

This was the very first episode of Ben 10 that I ever saw. Since I hadn\'t seen the first episode, when ben explained a little bit about the watch, I kinda figured some things out. When I first heard the theme song, I was like COOL! But anyways, when I was first watching it, I didn\'t know that ben was actually a nice person and I thought he was really self-centered. But, nope, he just loves the Sumo Slammer game. Speaking of which..... the episode \"Framed\" just came on, which has Kevin in it. Ben\'s all innocent and Gwen\'s all like ready to kill him and Grandpa Max\'s like whatever. But the episode was great. It\'s the episode that got me watchin\' this show. So yeah.....

When ben turns in to ghost freak and goces and plays a game you no this episode will be very very interesting. Only thing is ha" gets caught and ben gwin and grandpa are thrown out. Then ben and grandpa pax fight for a while. Followed bye ben wondering of and helping a kid nameed keven. They could have draw kevevern eleven a lot longer then they did like say the two inipies work together and try to defaet ben but they probably won't do this. Ben was a little annoying in this episode. But I guess it's alright.
  • There was one moment in this episode that i would call the best in the series so far.

Ben 10 has been to me average at best. Outside Hunted none of the episodes hit me as being all that good. Keven 11 did little at first to change that. Then there was the subway scene.

Keven and Ben are in the subway near the end of the episode, I believe this is right before or after Keven stole the heatblast powers. Anyway there is a bit of dialog where Ben realizes that Keven is going to kill the people on the trains with no problem at all. They did not dodge this but instead had Ben confront Keven derectly about trying to kill the people.

What makes this scene so great to me probably has to do with Ben and Keven's age. Ben is 10 years old and Keven eleven (I figure) that alone having an eleven year old kid be willing enough to kill people with using some mind control or insanity type situation is really a shocker. Yet thats just it. Keven was quite sane and knew what he was doing, he was sick of people treaking him like a freak and was willing to kill innocent people just to shut a couple people up.

If this show can keep up with themes that this episode had we could have a real winner on out hands.
  • An impressive episode that shows the growth and strengths of this series.

This series just keeps getting better and better, and Kevin 11 just makes it better. The idea that somebody can absorb Ben's alien powers is interesting if not overdone, and the way that Ben got in an argument with Grandpa Max proves that he is a character with flaws, like his temper. Kevin just brings more questions to the series, though they are good thought-provoking questions. Like:

    * Will Ben face more opponents like Kevin in the future who obtained alien-like powers "at birth" if he was telling the truth?

The next episode looks great as well, it will finally explain to Ben that there are some people who are after his watch that are not of this world.
  • Just when the series gets better, it just keeps getting better. Kevin 11 shows that jump to success.

It has been a month now since the premiere of Ben 10 here at the United States. After seven 22 minute (approx.) episodes, I feel that this show deserves to be known all over the world. Now this episode, has pushed the limits even further. Points you should know for this episode:

    1) Ben quarrel's with Max after he was told to stay put,

    2) Kevin 11 is a teenage boy who has the power to absorb power,

    3) When Ben reveals that the Omnitrix gives him the power to transform into 10 different aliens, Kevin becomes more interested in it,

    4) He eventually absorbs Heat Blast's and Four Arm's power, and loses the form, but it is shown that he acquired the power of Heat Blast at the end.

This episode has given another great show, and fot that, I strongly agree that this episode gets ten stars out of ten. Like the other episodes, it is JUST THAT GOOD.
