The first season concludes with this episode. Two words: Absolutely Wonderful.
The first season may have come and go quickly, but it has shown many things that we would expect.

"Perfect"
The final episode marks the end of the first season. The final showdown between the Tennyson family and Vilgax was intense, and it ends with a happy one. It was unexpected that Grandpa Max would immediately react to Ben's visions, and he reveals quite a bit to his grandchildren. He was not your normal plumber after all, wasn't he?
Vilgax is surprised that a mere child is playing with the Omnitrix's power. He explains to Ben what he plans to use the Omnitrix for, and he says that he wants to control an army whose members each weld an Omnitrix. He points it out by giving a visual example on how useful it can become.
Vilgax also reveals that he clearly understands how the Omnitrix functions. He knows how to disable the transformation before waiting for the Omnitrix to revert back. He also seems to understand how to switch between forms. Now that is something that we all are looking for in the future.
Grandpa Max was one of the major characters in the episode. He shows us how important it was why they should arrive at Mount Rushmore. His RV also revealed secrets, which had a function to lead them to an underground facility, holding numerous containers. Max opens several of them, and finally chooses a specific one. He explains that it was specifically designed only to be used on Vilgax.
Gwen and Max prepare to board Vilgax's ship, just before they took off. Inside, Ben is held captive by Vilgax, about to remove his arm. Max arrives in time just to stop him. However, when Max tried to drive the ship, Vilgax managed to survive the blast from the bio-laser. He explains that he has become much stronger, and the weapon does not affect him.
The battle between Vilgax and Ben was intense, and yet, the Omnitrix reacting rapidly between alien DNA made the brawl more interesting. At one time, the alien may be a disadvantage, but when he transforms, it is the other way around.
Ben has a decision to whether he wants his family, or to surrender to him. Ben shows how noble he can be, and gives himself to Vilgax. As He enters his ship, he is warned by Max not to enter. Vilgax is surprised that Max has enabled the self-destruct mechanism. He attempts to disable it, yet fails, and takes one last shot from Max's bio-laser. This time, it is controlled by the grandson of the man who has stopped him before: Benjamin Tennyson.
With Vilgax's final words, Ben leaves him behind, and transforms to Heat Blast, a small reminder that Ben has learned many things along the way, with Heat Blast to begin his adventure with.
In the end, Ben is seen to be quite satisfied after defeating his ultimate enemy, yet Ben asks his grandfather to explain to him. Gwen also seems to be surprised how Max knew all of this.
Then they look at the sky, as Vilgax's ship parts fall onto the ground, they imagine, and we continue to imagine, what the Omnitrix may deliver them. But was Vilgax destroyed in the explosion? No matter, because we know, that we have the best hero in the world.
The episode was simply amazing, and to summarize it all, Ben 10 has proven itself to be the best it can be. I believe that the series overally deserves ten stars out of ten, and deserves to continue, which will eventually reveal to us this coming May. Re-runs will be aired during the month of April, and if you haven't watch some of the episodes, I strongly suggest that you watch them!
With overall high ratings for the past few months, I can foresee a very successful market. Video games, action figures, apparel, graphic novels, books, DVD video, around the world premieres, movies, costumes, cosplay, websites, and many more stuff.
Ten alien forms in my wrist is all that I need, and it started when the alien device did what it did, didn't it? Then it stuck itself upon Ben's wrist, and it reveals what it hid. Then he's got super powers, he is not your ordinary kid, he is Ben 10!
But for now, we bid adieu to Ben, Gwen, and Grandpa Max...
until we meet again.
