Think Back: Ben becomes Four Arms by accident in this episode, something which rarely happens as he is the selected alien.
Think Back: This is the second episode in which Max isn't a main character, focusing more on Ben and Gwen.
Pay Attention: It looked like Ben was Wildvine for longer than 10 minutes in this episode.
Look Closely: After Ben turns into Wildvine, the flash of the Omnitrix is blue, not green like it should be.
Ben 10 Tidbit: Since it can't have been two months since Ben got his alien powers (it's still summer, after all), it's impossible for a cartoon show about his heroes to have been made in such a short time. Even allowing the possibility that the animators are incredibly fast, forming a voice cast, getting approval from the studio, and just pitching the idea in a way that wouldn't get them sued would take several weeks alone, if not months. But not only is the show ready, but they have merchandise in stores, giant balloons, etc. It's literally impossible in the span of time in which the series has taken place thus far.
Pay Attention: While Abel is shown dangling over a vat of acid, Tim is grabbed by another man dressed like Kangaroo Commando. Later dialogue reveals this to be Kane. However, slow motion reveals that the kidnapper does not have a moustache like Kane does, revealing that Kane's moustache is fake.
Kane North: Attention, park-goers. I am pleased to inform you of the demise of that hack, Abel North, and that talentless animator, Tim Dean!
Abel North: Hack?!
Tim Dean: Talentless?!
Four Arms: We should team up!
Kangaroo Commando: Tried that once with Marsupial Man. Until I caught him putting my gadgets into his pouch!
Kane: I'm the real Kangaroo Commando. I built all the gadgets and special effects while you took all the credit.
Gwen: So, why did you kidnap Dean?
Kane: Because he ripped off my idea.
Wildvine: Can't anybody come up with anything original in Hollywood?
Gwen: (riding on Stinkfly's back) Look, North is heading for his dressing room. Take us down.
Stinkfly: I'll land when I'm good and ready. (Omnitrix beeps; reverts back to Ben)
(Ben & Gwen fall into a pool of water below)
Announcer: (on TV) Hey, folks. Don't forget, we'll be premiering a brand-new episode of Super Alien Hero Buddy Adventures right here on the big screens at Planetary Studios Hollywood.
Stinkfly: I've got a premiere for you! (spits mucus all over the TV screens)
Gwen: Real mature, Stinkbreath.
Kid: Thanks, Handy Buddy.
Four Arms: Name's Four Arms, not Handy Buddy.
Kid: You could get in trouble ripping off Handy Buddy like that.
Four Arms: Sue me.
Ben: Bad enough they ripped me off with some dumb cartoon. Did they have to make me look like a total dweeb?
Gwen: Yeah, as if you need help looking like a total dweeb.
Grandpa Max: (to Ben & Gwen) You kids have a relaxing day at the park?
Ben: Relaxing in a Ben Tennyson kind of way.
Wildmutt - Fourarms
XLR8 - Wildvine
Cartoon Network (UK) airdate: April 3rd, 2007.
Handy Buddy had a Scottish accent, Firey Buddy talks in rhymes, and Doggy Buddy talks like Scooby-Doo.
Main Villain Bio: Kane North - Kane North is the twin brother of Abel North (a.k.a. Kangaroo Commando). Kane holds a grudge against Abel because he made Kangaroo Commando's gadgets and Abel took all the credit. When Kane tried to escape, Ben as Wildvine fought him until the Omnitrix timed out. When Kane was about to strike Ben, Abel sneaks behind him and knocks him out. Kane and his brother are likely based off of Cain and Abel from the Bible.
The animation of the SAHBA characters is very similar to that of the alien countdown in the opening sequence.
Alien Form(s) Used:
1) Heat Blast.
2) Four Arms.
Main Villain(s): Kane North.
The front of the theme park is based after Universal Studios: Orlando.
New Alien Powers: Heat Blast not only absorbs flame, but he can superheat air to create a vortex, which can slow a fall, and he can also shoot fire from his feet.
The Super Alien Hero Buddy Adventures alien counterparts are as follows.
Four Arms = Handy Buddy
Heat Blast = Firey Buddy
Wildmutt = Doggy Buddy
Naruto: Sakura Haruno
Near the end of the episode there is a girl within the crowd that is dressed like Sakura Haruno from the anime and manga Naruto, but does not have pink hair.
In one scene, where Ben is speaking with Kangaroo Commando, if you look closely in the background, you can see three kids hanging together. These kids resemble Konahamaru, Udon, and Moegi. If you look even closer, you will see one of the kids is even wearing Konohamaru's goggles on top of his head!
Trinity Blood: Similarities
In this episode, Kane, being the bad guy, tried to kill his brother, Abel, the good guy. Coincidentally, in Trinity Blood, Cain is the bad guy and Abel is the good guy. Also, this episode of Ben 10, "Super Alien Hero Buddy Adventures," aired on the same day as the series finale of Trinity Blood.
Kane North & Abel North: Names
The names Kane and Abel may have been taken from the characters, Cain and Abel, from the Hebrew Bible. Coincidentally, Cain, in the bible, kills Abel while Kane, in Ben 10, tried to kill Abel.
Dinosaur Head: Reference
The fire-breathing dinosaur head Wildvine encounters resembles Godzilla.
Tim Dean: Name
The name is possibly a play with the last names of the creators of Batman: The Animated Series: Bruce Timm and Paul Dini.
Kangaroo Commando: Parody
Kangaroo Commando is a parody of Batman, and his actor Abel North is also a parody of Adam West, the same actor who played Batman in the 1960s TV series. In addition, the character is also a nod to Captain Kangaroo, a mainstay of children's television for decades.
Doggy Buddy: Speech
Doggy Buddy (Wildmutt's SAHBA counterpart) talks with R's in front of every word. This form of speech was most memorable from Scooby-Doo, but was also used by Astro of The Jetsons.
Super Alien Hero Buddy Adventures: Villains
The villains on "Super Alien Hero Buddy Adventures" are spoofs of KND villains. Bowling Ball Bandit is similar to the Dodgeball Wizard, Gumdrop Wizard is similar to Stickybeard, and the Kitty Litterer is similar to the Crazy Old Cat Lady.
