    Affable old man, played by Wisdom, comes to Jersey with his wife seemingly to holiday and is mugged for his wallet in a quiet alleyway.

    The attention and sympathtic publicity is not welcome however especially for the gang who have hired Wisdom to pick a diamond safe. Matters get worse for the gang as Wisdom dotes on the attention and spins a yarn to all that listen that he was once a royal chauffeur. Charlie even arranges a charity fund to be set up in his favour. The gang's plans are from then on doomed of course but this is liekable episode for all its shallow plotting. Wisdom plays it straight and succeeds.moreless
