  • Off to a good start!

Berserk! Is off to a good start, we meet our main character doing exactly what we want to see kicking butt and spilling blood and guts all over the place! YEAH! This particular episode is a little bit cliche, the main character comes in and stops the would-be torture of an innocent girl, kills the bad guys and sends a message out to the chief. We don't learn much about him but that also creates interest - this episode grabs your attention because you start to wonder, Where did he get the big a$$ sword? What's that thing around his neck and why is his left eye always closed... This is a Great way to start any anime althought the whole savior of the day bit was a little played.
  • Theres not really much to say about this - big sword, big bloke, big baddy (literally) and lots of blood with plenty of violence to top it off - just all the normal things.

The first time that I ever saw this show, and i have to say it's a little disappointing. It didn't really entertain that well compared to other animas that I've watched in the past and it was slightly confusing at some parts. At least the ending was fairly good as a cliffhanger with the last minute flashback. The overall thoughts for this episode were that it's good as a cliffhanger leaving lots of questions unanswered, but the plot itself was rather boring and dissapointing, am hoping the next is going to get a little more exciting, lets hope. *fingers crossed* bye
  • Yet another badass character with a bigass sword.

A group of bandits have kidnapped a young girl, and are treating her like dirt. From purposely spilling their drinks, to making her clean it by drinking it off the table. Everyone within the bar couldn't do anything, because they were afraid of being killed. But there was one man who couldn't take it. He killed one of them, and slain the others with his bigass sword. This was later on reported to the master, who shown interest in this black swordsman. At the moment, the black swordsman was reflecting on himself with a piece of jewelry around his neck. He hears voices within himself, presumably a demons.

The master decided to burn the town and kill everyone within it, killing the miniser and only keeping with him the soldiers who were loyal to him. Those same loyal soldiers were killed by arrows, which came from the same black swordsman that killed the man earlier. The master turned into a snake like demon, who was later slain by the black swordsman. A weird way to start off a series if you ask me, though it is pretty interesting. For the first episodes after this one, it's all realistic and stuff, while this episode seems completely supernatural. Oh well, that just makes it more interesting.
