A surprise revamping of the "Bette" tv series brings mixed reactions.
Let's get rid of the boring husband and bring in one who can do comedy...hey, what a concept! Only about 15 episodes too late!
I was pleased at the new Roy. He's funny and knows how to deliver a line. What's mort important, he actually seems to have chemistry with the show's star.
This was indeed a fresh approach at the series, although be it too little too late.
But he's a different.... How can they?......
Forget why or how....just be happy that the original series run went out on a high note.
Just when the show jumped off the sinking ship and landed in a dingy, they find out that the dingy was already full of holes.
To the "Bette" series....thanks for the laughs and to it's star....no matter how many bad writers, ratings games, bad casting and execs you have to try rising above, you'll always be #1 with us!moreless
