My second time watching Better with You and now I hope that this series gets renewed. I watched part of the pilot and turned it off in disgust, but this was a very sweet episode of the show to close out the year. Yes, it followed the cliche of a pregnancy or a birth to finish a season for a sitcom, but it was done in an entertaining way as Casey and Mia had to rush to get married before the birth came. I liked Ben telling the guy how they did not even do building permits at the courthouse so he should let them in front of him.

Not unbelievably funny, but a decent enough episode of a dying breed of laugh track multi-camera sitcoms. Nice way to close out the year for a show that apparently deserves more attention than it has been getting.
  • The lack of real jokes plus plastic characters and stupid twists make up for a show that doesn't have anything to offer.

You think season finales can't go wrong with the birth of a child. It's endearing, cute and a happy moment for everyone. Still, there was no real joy the arrival of this baby (Charlie, really?). The parents weren't all that happy, in fact, they were too busy making up a wedding to pay attention. The brother-in-law and the sister of the mother were too busy with themselves and the grandparents were bickering over a handkerchief only to find that they really do love each other.
There are kudos to be given for trying to combine a birth with a wedding but this episode failed at both.
