  • And now the show's bad

The show was going very well for a long time. When this episode aired, we got treated to terrible episodes, this being the first of them. The people behind the show seemed to stop caring. Surely, people would notice that you are reusing plots and making two episodes in half and hour when you used to only do one. In my mind, you cannot count any part of Between the Lions as good after this episode (with the exception of the Golden Meatie awards). Everything before this episode was good. This episode marks the beginning of the bad episodes and this series is no longer the great show it used to be.moreless

Trivia, Notes, Quotes and Allusions

FILTER BY TYPE

  • TRIVIA (1)

    • Dr. Ruth Westheimer appears in this episode as Dr. Ruth Wordheimer with another "Long Word Freakout." She helps a monkey to pronounce the word "helicopter."

  • QUOTES (1)

    • Wolf: (in 'Three Little Pigs' story) Little pig, little pig, let me come in.
Pig: No, no, you can't come in. Not by the hair of my chinny chinny chin.
Wolf: Then I'll huff and I'll puff and blow your house in.

  • NOTES (1)

    • Like The Electric Company before it, Between the Lions' fifth season had far less new production. All the lions' sequences take place on the roof garden, with no other incidental characters brought in. The Information Hen is now animated, always consulting the same book at the end of both sequences.
