Brandon goes undercover for The Blaze, hoping to expose steroid use within the athletics team. Unfortunately, his expose threatens to shine light on more than a corrupt athletics department. Meanwhile, Brenda's minor car accident becomes a major problem for Jim.

    This was actually the first episode I ever saw. I didn't start watching the show until about half way through Season 3, but this was a random episode that I watched before watching full time back in the day. This time they dive into the issue of steroids, which I found kind of interesting back in the day as it wasn't an issue that too many if any other shows ever dove into. Given the current sports atmosphere today, this is a pretty good episode to watch. Anyway, Steve is on the track team, and many of the guys on there are taking steroids. So Steve joins in. But also joining the team is Brandon. One thing leads to another and Brandon decides it's best to blow the whistle on the situation. Brenda starts driving Brandon's car when he's not using it, and immediately gets into an accident, which is totally her fault, EVEN though she was baited by this old lady. This leads to a hilarious conversation about the whole insurance thing with Jim, where Brenda is at her annoying best, and Jim is telling her what the score is. Classic father-daughter stuff. Pretty good episode that dove into an issue that was pretty big in 1992, but not nearly as big as it is 17 years later. MVC: Brandon (33), Brenda (21), Steve (15), and Jim (15)moreless
