  • LOVE THIS EPISODE< ONE OF MY FAVES

    9.5
I love that Brenda calls Dylan and it adds tension to Dylan and Kelly's relationship and the fact that Kelly admits to Brenda she is afraid of losing Dylan to her, "I may have Dylan now, but I can't help wonder that you'll be the one he remembers as the great love of his life" or something like that. This is basically the beginning of the end of Dylan and kelly... thank god, not a Kelly and Dylan fan at all, good story lines but not the same as Brenda and Dylanmoreless

  • TRIVIA (1)

    • At the very end of the episode the gang is sitting around a table at the Peach Pit. As they toast and knock glasses together, Steve is wearing a white shirt and holding an orange drink as he moves his glass toward the center of the table. David is wearing a multi-color striped shirt, holding what appears to be cola as he moves his glass toward the center of the table. In the next shot as the gang are pulling their hands away from the center of the table, David's drink is now orange and Steve's is now cola.

  • QUOTES (2)

    • Jim: I don't know how I managed to raise two kids who are so different.
Brandon: Maybe Brenda and I are not so different.
Jim: Believe me, you're different. I look at you and I'm so proud at what you accomplished. You're bright, talented, and now you're on the college task force on education, people will finally start to look up at you. You're gonna be quite a force to be reckoned with, Brandon.
Brandon: Listen dad, I appreciate the confidence you have in me and everything and I know this is probably the last thing you need on your plate right now, but...
      Jim: What's wrong?
Brandon: There's a guy at school named Josh Richland. He's a junior and he writes for the newspaper and... uh... he's been doing a little digging about me.
Jim: What skeletons could he possibly find in your closet?
      Brandon: The female kind.
      Jim: What's wrong with that? You're 19, you're single.
Brandon: And she's 26 and married.
      Jim: I see.
Brandon: Actually, if you want to get technical about it, she got divorced. But that's not the worst about it.
Jim: Okay, go ahead and hit me. Nothing could shock me now.
      Brandon: She's on the faculty.
      Jim: I'm shocked.

    • Dylan: You okay?
Brenda: Yeah, a little scared. One night in jail is definitely enough for me to realized I don't want to go back.
Kelly: Maybe, you should've thought of that before.
      Dylan: Kel.
Kelly: What? I'm sorry, I just don't know what you expect from me.
      Dylan: What is your problem?
Kelly: You want to know what my problem is? I am sick and tired of stepping aside every time Brenda comes running to you with another crisis. Every time you call, he runs whether it's Palm Springs in the middle of the night or jail, he runs. He's not your boyfriend anymore.
Brenda: And obviously you're not my friend anymore.
