This was an outstanding episode. It really dealt with the core of this show involving the entire cast. Dylan succumbed to his inner demons despite his friends' best efforts to intervene. This resulted in a life threatening drug binge that leaves dylan comatose. I remember the closing scene of this episode vividly. I'll never forget the horrified look on Dylan's face as he drove his Porsche off a cliff. I was absolutely enthralled during these moments. After that, I glanced over at my friend who was just speechless. Overall this episode certainly deserves your undivided attention and a standing ovation!moreless

    • Brandon: Look, Dylan, you might have given up on yourself, but I'm here for a very selfish reason. You saved my life once. Three years ago we went on a camping trip, we were up on a mountain the morning after a rainstorm, I slipped on some rocks and you saved me from falling off the cliff. Do you remember? Dylan: Yeah, I remember. So what? Brandon: So, when I see you getting all boozed up and all geezed out on coke or whatever your killing yourself with, I can't help thinking... what's gonna happen next time if you're not there? Dylan: You fall off the mountain. I'm not in the savior business anymore, Brandon. David: Well, I can't agree with you on that one, Dylan. Did you forget about the little incident that happened in the beach apartment a few months ago? I called on you for help. I was wasted on meth, the cops were banging on the door... you saved me from going to jail. Andrea: Look, David buried his friend Scott in high school. Brandon just buried his friend Josh a short while ago. We don't want to bury you, Dylan. Dylan: So put your shovels away 'cause nobody's dying here, all right? I'm fine. Brandon: You're not fine. Dylan: I'm fine! Brandon: Stop lying to us, and stop lying to yourself. People who play with guns and get high are not fine!
