Another rare Season 1 gem, and arguablly Shannon Doherty's finest performance in the series. While studying for SAT's Kelly, Donna, and Brenda decide to test themselves for lumps on their breasts based on a Breast Cancer Awareness article in a magazine they were reading. Brenda notices something. Having maternal history of breast cancer in their family, naturally they were extremely concerned. As usual, Jim and Cindy are superb at the roles of parents, and Brandon also needs to get the nod for the concerned brother. Brenda sees a doctor and realizes that it is something that might be cancer. She has to skip the SAT's to have surgery to remove the lump. It ends up not being cancer and they all breath a sigh of relief. Just a tremendous episode that really focuses on the Walsh family and how they deal with adversity. MVC: Brandon (13), Brenda (11), Jim (6), and Cindy (9)moreless

In this episode i love how the friends just walked out of the exam to help Brenda through this terrible time. I loved Gabreiell's nervousness through out this episode it's literally like taking a test for them since they are teenagers in this episode. I just love the mother daughter bond in this episode and the doctor that they had in this episode was very througoh with Brenda. we need good doctors like that. i thought it was absoutely amazing. i was very happy when they just walked out like that i would've done the same thing for my friends. i also liked the acting in this episode as well.. i just loved it..moreless
