EDIT
Brandon and Susan spend the weekend at her parents' house. Susan's mother asks Brandon very intrusive questions during dinner. Mrs. Keats expects Brandon to sleep in the guest room, but Susan sneaks him into her room during the night. Mrs. Keats catches Brandon in bed with Susan the next morning. She expresses her disappointment, and Susan shares her frustration at the expectations placed upon her since her sister's death. Kelly befriends Tara. Colin and Valerie's new relationship upsets David and Kelly. Val orders David to mind his own business. Colin's old dealer, Danny, tempts him with some cocaine. Colin agrees to drive him to a drug house in Torrance. When the police arrive, a panicked Colin drives off and leads them on a high-speed chase. The gang watches the chase unfold on television, and is shocked to see that Colin is the driver. Joe's older brother Hank comes to town and tries to discourage him from undergoing surgery. • TRIVIA (0)

    • QUOTES (2)

      • Tara: What are you so upset about? You practically told me that this guy, Colin, was the devil. He practically forced you into using cocaine just like my boyfriend did to me.
        Kelly: I don't know. I guess I'm just confused.
Tara: You're not confused. You're just upset because he's going out with somebody you can't stand.
Kelly: Since when did you get so smart?
Tara: I'm brilliant as long as it's your life we're talking about and not mine.

      • Valerie: Hey guys.
        Steve: Hey, Val.
David: Hey, why don't you join us?
Valerie: I can't, I've got to go work in the club. See ya.
        (Val exits)
David: Man, I can't stand her.
        Steve: Stand what?
David: The way she looks, they way she smells. She's going to drive me crazy for the rest of my life.
Clare: Well, you're the one who broke up with her.
David: Yah, well it still hurts.

    • NOTES (3)

      • Music:
I Fought the Law by The Bobby Fuller Four
A Lover's Concerto by The Toys

      • Kathleen Noone "Ruth Keats" as well as Brian Austin Green were both cast members of the long running CBS soap Knots Landing.

Kathleen Noone played Claudia Sumner Whittaker (1990-1993) and Brian Austin Green played Brian Cunningham (1986-1989). Even though they were not on the show at the same time Brian's character would later be engaged to Kathleen's daughter on the show in "Knots Landing: Back to the Cul-de-sac," thus making her his mother-in-law.

      • Bruce Thomas later had a recurring role as Val's stepfather, Carl Schmidt.

    • ALLUSIONS (1)

      • The televised high-speed chase is a reference to the televised chase between the police and O.J. Simpson which happened earlier in the year.
