  • Kind of bland, but historically important

    With Dylan in Hawaii, Brandon and Brenda focus on work and school respectively. Brandon has some time on his hand, and Andrea dumps a misfit kid named Felix in Brandon's lap for him to play big brother too. Turns out, the kid is getting whacked around by his mom at home, but see, he met Brandon Walsh, so his life will change for the better. The side-story of the episode is much more imporant. While Brenda, Kelly, and Jackie are having lunch at the beach club, Jackie messes up her tooth. Luckily the 3rd best Oral Surgeon in all of Los Angeles is at the table right beside them. Turns out his name is Mel Silver, as in, David Silver's dad. Kelly automatically is traumatized and it's pretty entertaining. Mel and Jackie start going on some dates, and actually start liking each other. Mel and jackie decide to have dinner with David and Kelly. Kelly is brilliant playing as Steve would call it, the "step child from hell." Jackie and Kelly finally make amends, and Jackie assures Kelly that it changes nothing.
