Brandon gets a weekend visit from Sheryl, an old flame from back home. She is set to sleep in Brenda's room, but finds her way into Brandon's bed. Tensions mount afterwards, when she takes a liking to Dylan and his wealthy ways.     Sheryl, Brandon's old girlfriend from Minnesota comes for a visit. Brandon is excited, because he believes that it is a sure thing for him to lose his virginity, and he is absolutely right. Cindy of course plays the concerned parent flawlessly, and really deserves a lot of credit. Jim also gets an A- for his effort in the father role. Concerned, yet can't help but be proud that his son is taking it home. Brenda has a little schoolgirl crush on her Algebra teacher, but the main story is Brandon and Sheryl. After their first night, Sheryl is enamored with the glitz and glamour of Hollywood, and so Brandon takes her out on the town. They make a stop at the BelAge Hotel and meet up with Dylan, who Sheryl immediately takes an eye to. When they are ready to go, Sheryl wants to go in Dylan's Porsche. Brandon is immediately jealous. He has to drop Brenda off at her algebra teachers house to babysit, and gets to the club to find that Dylan and Sheryl are pretty close on the dance floor, and both of them are drinking. He takes it the wrong way, and punches Dylan. Turns out Sheryl actually ran away from home. After a nice talk everything seems to be all good, and Sheryl goes home. Not before telling Brandon he is an amazing lover, right in front of Brenda. After she leaves, Brandon assures Jim that he was very safe, and to tell Cindy exactly that. Pretty good episode, obviously the best so far, and obviously historically significant in that Brandon loses his virginity. MVC: Brandon (4), Dylan (2), Jim, and Cindy (4)moreless

    This was not one of my favorite eppys. It was rather boring to be honest. There are basically two or three scenes that were worth the hour (or 45 minutes without commercials). When Brenda, Kelly and Donna are caught looking at Mr. Brody's wedding album that is just pure embarrassment, then when Brandon kisses Sheryl when she first gets out of the shower - that was so cute because we have never seen Brandon like that before. Then there is the scene when Brandon asks Sheryl how it was and Brenda comes running out of the other room - priceless. I could have done without the sequence at the restaurant when Sheryl is asking to see celebs and she flirts with Dylan while Brandon is in the bathroom - you just knew that Sherly was going to go after Dylan because of his car, money and what not. Again not one of my faves out of the entire 10 year run of this series. JMOmoreless

    I must say that I truly enjoyed this episode it was indeed a series classic. Brandon's old girlfriend, Sheryl, from Minneapolis, decides to to visit the Walsh's for the weekend and she ends up spending the night in Brandon's room, and that is when(Brandon loses his virginity) Sheryl seems obsessed with wealth and fame, and takes a liking to Dylan and his Porsche.(which doesn't sit well with Brandon) Brandon thinks that Dylan is hitting on Sheryl and they get into a fight.(A test to their friendship)

    Brandon is stunned to learn that he was not the first guy to sleep with Sheryl. Sheryl's mother calls Cindy and reveals that her daughter ran away following a fight with her stepfather. I found this part of the episode to be a revelation Brandon,(Sheryl is not the same girl he knew, and he didn't realize she had so many problems). It was fun to watch Brenda, falling for her algebra teacher(she has daydreams about him)Brenda eventually winds up babysitting for him, with "help" from Kelly and Donna. Brenda's daydreams are short lived (he loses his appeal), after watching the way his wife pushes him around.moreless

    • In this episode Brandon states that they are having a heat wave in November, but in the next episode Jim says that it is October.

    • In this episode Brandon states that it is November, and Sheryl says she and Brandon haven't seen each other in six months. For this to be true the Walsh family would have had to move away from Minnesota in May, meaning the Walsh twins would have started at West Beverly High at the end of the previous school year and not on the first day of the new school year.

    • When Sheryl moves in to kiss Brandon for the first time her arms are crossed and low near her waist. In the close up of the kiss her hands are cupping Brandon's face, but when they pull apart her arms are crossed again.

    • Brenda wears a long necklace when she babysits, but when she rides home in Kelly's car the necklace is gone. However, when speaks to her mother after arriving home the necklace reappears.

Dylan: What are you talking about? Brandon: Dylan you can probably go out with any girl in the school that you want. Why are you hitting on my girlfriend? Dylan: Brandon, you are out of your mind. I'm not hitting on her. Brandon: Come on, Dylan I know how you operate: "I know this great club we can get into; look at my nice car; No, no, let's just go in and Brandon will find us; let me buy you a drink...." Dylan: That's not what happened! Brandon: It doesn't work with Sheryl!! She's not into your car, she's not into your cast, she's only into one guy!! Dylan: You?! Brandon: That's right! Dylan: Well, I think you guys need to have a serious talk, Brandon. As much as I hate to tell you this, your girlfriend hit on me tonight!! (punches Dylan) Dylan: (gets up and grabs Brandon) You better figure out who your friends are!
