Darrin and Samantha are both pleased that Darrin's much-loved Uncle Albert, whom he hasn't seen for a long time, is coming for a visit. Meanwhile, two old down on their luck conmen decide that the Stephens home would be a great place to burgle. When one of them, Horace, (Cliff Hall) comes to the door, intent on working his trickery, Samantha, thinking he is Darrin's Uncle Albert, welcomes him with open arms and treats him better than he has ever been treated before.

When Horace is exposed as a thief, neither Samantha nor Darrin let on that they know he isn't really Uncle Albert as they both feel sorry for him and their trust is not misplaced when he and his partner, William (Herbert Faye) steal all the Stephens' valuables but quickly return them when Horace gets a major attack of the guilts.

This is an excellent 'feel good' episode and shows Darrin in a much warmer light than we usually see him as he too is kind to an old man down on his luck. Watch this one, I'm sure you'll love it.moreless
