Samantha and Darrin have a guest in the form of Gerri (Gerladine) O' Toole, a young lady who is supposedly a friend of an aunt that Darrin isn't even heard of. It doesn't take Endora long though to figure out that Gerri is a wood nymph who has a phobia about cats and witches.
Gerri is there to avenge a 15th century nobleman named Rufus the Red who was killed in a duel with Darrin the Bold, an ancestor of Darrin Stephens and Samantha must go back in time without the use of witchcraft to prevent the duel from taking place in order to lift the curse placed on the Stephens family line.
In my opinion, this episode was extremely weak and badly executed. The put on Irish accents were excruciating to listen to as the actors and actresses in question kept slipping back into their American speech patterns. The script was also extremly dull and very predictable. Only Agnes Moorehead saved this one from being a total washout as she is always excellent as Endora.moreless
