  • Tabatha uses 'wishcraft' to bring Prince Charming to life where he sets about wooing and flattering all the women around him.

    4.5
Tabatha is a big fan of the story 'Sleeping Beauty' and most particularly of the dashing Prince Charming whom she zaps out of one of her story books and brings to life in the Stephens' house.

Darrin's cousin Helen and her fiancee Ralph (Louise Glenn and Stuart Margolin) happen to be visiting at the time and Helen falls for the Prince's sickly, sweet romantic overtures.

Samantha doesn't know what to do because Helen is besotted, the Prince is ... Charming and Ralph is very jealous. The answer, of course, is Sleeping Beauty, whom Samantha brings forth from the book and allows her to capture the young Prince's heart all over again.moreless

  • TRIVIA (2)

    • This non-Darrin episode is a rare which features a of Darrin's relatives other than his parents. In the original show pilot script, he did have a sister, but she was not in the filmed episode and was never mentioned. We do however meet Darrin's medieval ancestor, Darrin the Bold, as well as his contemporary Scottish cousin, Robbie.

    • If Prince Charming doesn't have any substance, as shown by his ability to walk through closed doors and his inability to be seen on TV monitors, how is he able to dance with Helen and play patty-cake with Tabitha?
