Samantha is an amateur painter at best but she decides to enter a local art contest just to have some fun. She chooses the standard bowl of fruit as her subject and is happy enough with it. Endora, however, is not. She thinks the painting is dreadful and so, exchanges it by magic for the work of a modern-day master while adding Samantha's signature to the new 'entry'.

It is no surprise when Samantha wins the contest but she knows straight away that the winning painting is certainly not hers and is furious with her mother. Meanwhile, when Darrin learns the truth, he begins bidding for the painting when it is auctioned for charity. The only trouble is, one of his clients wants it for himself and is bidding against him!

Quite an amusing episode with some fun work by Dick York and Agnes Moorehead.moreless
