Aunt Clara wants to go back to the age of Queen Victoria, but ends up bringing Queen Victoria to the twentieth century. Alarmed by the nature of modern behavior, Queen Victoria threatens to set some decrees. Meanwhile, a client is acting like a royal tyrant to Larry, so Samantha and Aunt Clara must figure out how to solve both problems.moreless
  • Aunt Clara is at it again and this time she involves Queen Victoria!

    "Great"
Like a lot of people, Aunt Clara often yearns for 'the good old days' and she is feeling nostalgic when she tells Samantha of the time that she was a lady in waiting to England's Queen Victoria. Feeling wistful, and wanting to pay a return visit to the era, Aunt Clara tries to send herself back but instead, she goofs and brings the monarch to 1960s America, throne and all!

Queen Victoria is most definitely not amused by what she sees and hears in this modern world but she does remember Clara and also remembers that Prince Albert was quite fond of her. The Queen decides that the only way to fix things is to issue a pile of decrees which, of course, she expects everyone to obey. Strangely enough, Darrin has a difficult client who behaves pretty much like the old queen and the comparison is unavoidable.

It's time for Aunt Clara to send Queen Victoria back to her own time and it's also necessary to deal with the difficult client at the same time.

A fairly decent episode but in my opinion, one of the weakest of those which feature the delightful dottiness of Aunt Clara.moreless
