Endora, anxious for Samantha to travel Europe again, gives Darrin a perfect Italian tongue. Her spell, however, is too strong, and "Dino" no longer understands English. The advertising firm have landed an important new client who hails from Italy. Darrin is going to be handling the account and Larry insists that he learn at least enough of the language to impress everyone. Darrin finds this very difficult, to say the least, going as far as to get some help from Samantha AND buying a set of record albums as teaching aids.

Just when it seems that Darrin is not going to get anywhere, and Larry is going to be furious, Endora steps in and puts a spell on him so that he is suddenly very fluent, so fluent in fact that, as time goes on, he can't understand a work of English!

To say that Larry (David White) is embarrassed and unimpressed is an understatement. The client is certain that Darrin MUST be Italian-born,given how adept he is at the language and then is certain that Darrin is pretending not to understand English in order to embarrass him. With Larry at boiling point, Samantha finally makes Endora lift the spell so that Darrin can speak his own language again.

A very funny episode, slick and well written. Dick York gives an excellent performance; one of his funniest and one not to be missed.moreless
