Bewitched

Samantha hasn't seen her cousin, Edgar (Arte Johnson) for quite some time. Edgar is an elf who also happens to be mute. He and Samantha have always been very close and he is very displeased that she has married a mortal.



Endora is, of course, delighted that someone else agrees with her but Samantha is furious when Edgar visits the offices of McMahon and Tate and begins playing tricks on Darrin which could cost the company a major shoe account.



Samantha keeps trying to convince Edgar that she loves Darrin very much and that she is extremely happy with her husband, her marriage and her life. Finally, Edgar believes her and sets about righting the wrongs he has done to Darrin by wrecking the shoe campaign for a competitor who is close to stealing it away from Darrin's company.



In the end, Edgar truly understands that Samantha has the life she wants with the person she wants and he leaves her and her husband in peace.



A pretty dull episode upon which to end the first series and certainly not in any way indicative of the great stuff which is to come. Watch this episode and don't forget Season 2!
