I think Alice Pierce was perfect, but since she died, Sandra Gould was not a bad replacement. I think that if it were her the whole time, we would like her a lot.

I agree with you both. I usually like the first person doing the role. The same with Darrin. If I hadn't known any better I might have like Seargent more, but since there's a comparison, I like York. And Pearce.

Definetely Alice Pearce. She was actually friends with the Stephens, but still suspicious. She interacted more, and her facial expressions were a scream. Also loved her big bottle of "nerve tonic".

I liked Alice Pearce the best but I had no real problem with Sandra Gould, apart from the fact that I think she was quite a bit younger andadded a'nastier' streak to Gladys than the character had when Alice Pearce was playing her.
