George the Warlock

Season 1, Episode 30, Aired

Episode Summary

Darrin is spending a lot of time with D.D. "Danger" O'Reilly, Pleasure's younger sister, who is house-sitting for Pleasure. Endora, as usual, tries to break up the marriage again by using a handsome male warlock named George to woo Samantha. When his plan (and Endora's) is unsuccessful, he turns himself into a raven with a lot of talent, so much talent that he creates a perfect image for Darrin's advertising campaign for typewriters. Samantha tells Darrin who is behind the raven, and George turns back into his old self and starts going after Danger O'Reilly. Endora has lost again when he returns to his girls.moreless

    "Poor"
Darrin seems to be constantly next door at the home of D.D. "Danger" O' Reilly, younger sister of Pleasure, who is housesitting while her sister is away. Samantha, although she tries to hide it, is less than impressed. Meanwhile, Endora is sick of Samantha and Darrin's lovey dovey relationship and is determined to end it once and for all. To this end, she enlists the aid of George, (Christopher George) a handsome, hedonistic women-loving warlock who likes to collect women the way some people collect stamps.

When George ultimately fails to make any headway with Samantha, Endora is furious, so George makes himself scarse by turning himself into a raven and landing at the offices of McMahon and Tate where he amazes Larry (David White) and Darrin with his amazing skills at, among other things, typing, which suits them both down to the ground as they are working on a new campaign which just happens to involve electric typewriters and they are convinced that this amazing bird will help them come up with a blockbuster of a theme.

Things turn a little sour, however, when Darrin takes the raven home for safe keeping and Samantha is forced to tell him the truth about the identity of the bird. Meanwhile, George can't stay away from women any longer and turns back into a man in order to pursue "Danger" O' Reilly.moreless
