    Poor Samantha is constantly having to defend her marriage to Darrin to her highly disapproving mother. Endora just will not let it go and to prove her point, she insists on showing Samantha what would have happened to Darrin if he had never met her.

    For a start, and much to Samantha's disappointment, we find that Darrin is engaged to the very wealthy Sheila Sommers (Nancy Kovack) and that their wedding is just a short time away. Darrin appears to be very happy and Endora pulls her 'I told you so' expression as they watch Darrin happy, laughing and preparing for his wedding but the smile is soon wiped off Endora's face when we see that while Darrin's career is skyrocketing and his fiancee is wealthy and beautiful, he is not in love with her and is, in fact, very unhappy.

    Perhaps Endora should learn to leave well enough alone?moreless
