Everything is going along nicely for Samantha and Darrin until Endora (Agnes Moorehead) arrives and tells Samantha that her Warlock father, Maurice, (Maurice Evans) is coming to visit her. Samantha is extremely nervous because her father has no idea that she has married a mortal and she knows, quite well without dire warnings from Endora, that he will be absolutely furious if he finds out the truth.

When Maurice arrives and is told things about Darrin, he assumes that his new son-in-law is a Warlock, never dreaming that Samantha would marry anyone who wasn't. He soon realises his error though when, after being told that Darrin is in Washington, he suddenly arrives home and is clearly very much a mortal. Enraged, Maurice makes Darrin disappear but, strangely enough, with intercession from Endora and entreatries from Samantha herself, Maurice brings his son-in-law back to please Samantha when she tells him how much she loves Darrin and how happy the two of them are together.

    A terrific, laugh-a-minute episode!moreless
