    When Ticheba, (Ruth McDevitt) the Queen of the Witches decides to abdicate the thrown, Samantha is stunned and Endora positively delighted when Samantha is chosen to take her place and rule over all witches.

    Darrin isn't overly thrilled when he hears the news (as usual) but Samantha placates him somewhat by saying that she will only hold court at the house after midnight so that the familiy's daily routine isn't interrupted.

    Naturally, things don't go according to plan and Darrin becomes furious when various members of the magical community get the time wrong and start appearing at Morning Glory Circle at all hours, not bothering to wait until after midnight.

    Samantha has to find a way to juggle being both a wife and a mother as well as the witch queen, but can she do it successfully?

    Not a particularly powerful season opener but worth watching and with a few laughs to be had when Darrin's world is invaded by the magical one once again.moreless
