  • One thing you have to say about Cousin Serena is that she's loyal to her family - as Mrs. Stephens soon finds out.

When Darrin's mother goes to visit, she meets Serena for the first time and greatly displeases her when she makes catty and nasty remarks about Samantha and her family. Serena refuses to stand for it and immediately exacts her revenge by turning Mrs. Stephens into a cat!

When Samantha finds out, she is horrified but, to make matters worse, Mrs. Stephens is nowhere to be found and has, in fact, taken up residence with the 'crazy cat lady' in the neighbourhood who is a swwet old thing who takes in stray cats and takes care of them.

After some time, Samantha is able to identify her catty mother-in-law among the felines and things are soon put right but I have to say that I thoroughly enjoyed seeing Darrin's nasty old mother being put in her place! Great episode!moreless
