Who was the Episode MVP ?

  • Endora wants to get Samantha away from Darrin once and for all and she decides to use an old boyfriend of Samantha's to help her do it.

Endora is up to her old tricks again and is determined that this time, nothing will stop her from ending Samantha's marriage to a mortal. Samantha's old boyfriend, a warlock named Rollo, (Ron Randell) is the perfect person to assist her and together they come up with a scheme to feed Samantha a love potion. Unfortunately, Bo Callahan, (Arch Johnson)a client of McMann and Tate just happens to be visiting the Stephens house at exactly the same time that Rollo puts the potion into Samantha's martini. Equally unfortunately, it's Endora who ends up drinking it and falls madly in love with the client!

Samantha is in a race against time as an infatuated Endora is set to tie the knot with this total stranger, but her endeavours are fraught with difficulty as Endora keeps zapping her out of the way as the wedding ceremony is taking place!

This episode is fairly run of the mill but is vastly improved by the comedic skills of Agnes Moorehead as she plays Endora under the influence of the love potion.moreless

Trivia, Notes, Quotes and Allusions

  • TRIVIA (1)

    • When Sam disappears from the restaurant, she is wearing her coat, when she and Endora pop back in, the coat is on the back of the chair. Later, when they reappear and startle the waiter, he drops the tray and glass. Endora freezes the glass and brings it her, but where did the tray go? Then, when Rollo hands Sam her drink, she puts it on the table directly in front of Endora's glass. When Endora reaches for it by mistake, it has moved to the side of her glass.
