Now that she has her driver's licence, Samantha uses the family car quite a bit. Unfortunately, when Mrs. Kravitz (Alice Pearce) sees her open the garage door using magic, she and Darrin have to go the expense of purchasing an electronic door opener in order to allay her suspicions, which doesn't please Darrin as he wanted to use the money to buy new fishing tackle.

All is well with the remote door opener until the wiring is short-circuted every time a plane flies over, meaning that the door opens and closes of its own free will. Darrin furiously accuses Samantha of using withcraft to control the door but she swears she is not. When the problem is finally uncovered by the men who installed the door, all should be well, until the Kravitz's decide to buy one as well and start having similar problems.moreless
