  • An attractive young woman has moved into Morning Glory Circle and seems to have taken a shine to Darrin, a fact doesn't please Samantha or the young lady's boyfriend.

    4.0
    "Poor"
A new young lady, Priscilla "Pleasure" O'Reilly (Kip Hamilton) has moved into the neighbourhood, along with boxes and boxes of trophies won for such things as great legs and lips! The pretty girl is quite taken with Darrin, particularly after he helps her move her stuff into her new home. She tells him that she has moved there so that she can hide from her jealous boyfriend, Thor "Thunderbolt" Swenson, of whom she claims to be very frightened.

Darrin obviously feels sympathy for her but Samantha questions the young lady's motives when she arrives on the Stephens' lawn in the middle of the night claiming that she needs protection and assistance, asking for Darrin's help while virtually ignoring Samantha.

Things come to a head when Thor turns up and is furious with everyone, throwing punches left, right and centre, including in the direction of the innocent Abner Kravitz (George Tobias) who just happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time!

Finally, Pleasure takes out a restraining order against her obviously violent boyfriend, but it doesn't seem to stop her getting a lift from him when she has somwhere she needs to go to receive yet another award.

This one is a bit of a yawnfest with a weak script but you can't win 'em all and, good or bad, this terrific show is always worth a look.
  • The stephens\' have a new neighbor, sexy model,Pleasure O\'Reilly,and Darrin is helping her out.But soon her brutish football player b/f tracks her down, and has the neighborhood in an uproar.Abner Kravitz is punched out,but all ends happily for Pleasure.

This is very funny episode, that has maybe the most memorable exchange of dialogue in the series run.Sexy Pleasure O\'Reilly is the new neighbor, and Darrin is tripping over himself to help her.Sam tries to control herself, but certainly there is some jealousy. But I like how she tries to help Pleasure try to hide from her Footbal player beau. There are some funny scenes, especially when Sam turns Darrin into an old lady to keep him from being punched by the brutish Thunderbolt. It is hilarious to see Darrin talking like a little old lady, but the paste-de-resistance comes when Darrin the old lady directs Thunderbolt to the Kravitz\' house, and when Thunderbolt asks Abner at the door,\"Do you have Pleasure in here?\",Abner innocently answers sincerely,\"Not often, but occasionally.\"Which is answered by a punch in the face.It is basically a throwaway bit,but if you have a good understanding of the relationship between the Kravitz\',it resonates more, and thats why I think it is so funny.Equally funny is the headline in the newspaper:\"Passions plaything with a picture of Gladys Kravitz! Its a great episode, with George Tobias as Abner Kravitz, usually the most overlooked character on the series, getting a moment to shine, albeit with a shiner......
