Samantha has a new interest - local politics - and gets swept up in the upcoming election as a supporter of the charismatic Ed Wright (Edward Mallory.) When a campaign rally is held at their home, even Darrin cannot fail to be impressed by the young man's enthusiasm and desire for change and agrees to become his campaign manager.

The current office holder, Councillman John C. Cavanaugh (Byron Morrow) is equally as determined to win the election as his enthusiastic opponent. The trouble is, young Mr. Wright will have trouble winning at all against the charismatic older man unless he can find a way to expose his corruption. When a televised debate goes badly for Ed Wright, it seems that all is lost and the situation is hopeless until Endora, actually being helpful for once, uses her magical powers to not only create a massive flood from a supposedly sound water main (as the Counillman maintained all along) but also manages to uncover some pretty dirty tricks along the way which ensure a victory for the young candidate.

A weak episode but not unbearable. There are a couple of good laughs if you watch closely enough.moreless
