Darrin is mesmerized by the moon footage on TV and shows Samantha, but she is not interested because she has been there before. Later, Endora wants Samantha to go shopping with her in Tokyo, where they find a little shop to buy warlock tea. Darrin finds the tea and, thinking that it's moon dust, believes that Samantha really did go to the moon. He leaves it to be analyzed by a pharmacist, but when he gets home, starts fearing that the government will jail Samantha for her space travels.moreless

"Poor"

Darrin sits in front of the television set enthralled by the footage of the moon, marvelling at all that he sees. Samantha, on the other hand is not enthused because she has already been there so Darrin is alone in his delight but is somewhat surprised to find that his wife has already been there.

When Endora and Samantha pop (literally) over to Japan for some shopping, Endora buys some special warlock tea and gives some of it to her daughter, extolling its virtues. Later, Darrin is suspicious of the tea, not knowing what it is, and takes some of it, along with another household substance to be analysed by a pharmacist.

Darrin quite obviously gave no thought at all here to what would have happened if the substance turned out to be 'Moon Dust', which was what he thought it was. How we he and Samantha explain being in possession of it and surely, taking something to an outsider not from the magical realm was extremely risky?

Thankfully, one 'substance' turned out to be ordinary house dust and the other blew away in the wind but this episode was very poorly written and not well thought out from the perspective of the consequences to one and all if something unexplainable had been found.

Very poor episode for the abovementioned reasons.moreless

- When Darrin comes home to find the vacuum cleaner running itself, he rushes across the room to it. His path takes him through the space where the TV belongs at the stair landing. The TV is still missing as Sam comes down the stairs and they argue.

Of course we wouldn't go when there was a new moon, because then it was too hard to find. But when there was a full moon or even a half moon, we used to go all the time: just like mortals go on a picnic.
