Like most children, Tabitha loves to play in the park so Samantha, along with many other mothers, is less than impressed to learn that a lovely play park near their home is going to be used to build a supermarket.
When Samantha actively joins in the protest to stop the supermarket from being built, Darrin is angry because the developer is a major client of McMann and Tate. Samantha, however, takes a stand and refuses to back down and saves the park when she animates a bronze statue which is situated in the park to 'talk' to the would-be developer, who happens to be the grandson of the man after whom the statue was erected. Needless to say, the park is saved.
