Serena has never been known to behave herself so it's no surprise that her new boyfriend is a married warlock whose wife doesn't take kindly to her husband running around with another woman. When the jealous wife mistakenly thinks Samantha is Serena, she sends her back in time to New Orleans in the 1880s where Samantha has no memory of who or where she is. A kindly black woman takes her in but the man the woman works for, Rance Butler (played by Jack Cassidy) soon falls for the pretty young lady and tries to woo her. Meanwhile, poor old Darrin has to try and get his wife back!

This was a very funny episode, well written and acted. The only trouble was Elizabeth Montgomery's appalling attempt at a southern accent. Apart from that, great viewing and a very funny performance by Jack Cassidy.moreless
