Maurice and Endora have not lived together as man and wife for a very long time. They are separated but, as far as we can tell, not divorced. It is interesting, therefore, that Endora gets jealous of Maurice's new private secretary and attempts to make him jealous by using an Australian rival. The two men try and outdo each other by reciting long and dramatic Shakespearean verses in the form of a 'duel'. What is by far more interesting about this episode is the fact that Samantha announces that she and Darrin are expecting their second child. This was written into the script because Elizabeth Montgomery was expecting her third baby in real life.moreless

    • It is interesting to note that Abigail is the one of the few witches to appear on the show who's name doesn't end with the letter "A".

    • This begins the countdown to the birth of little Adam Stephens. Ironically, when Elizabeth Montgomery gave birth in real life a few months later, she had a daughter. Of course, when she had her youngest son in real life that was when Tabitha was born.

    • Dick York does not appear in this episode. In this episode, Samantha tells Darrin on the phone that she is pregnant, even though she was in her sixth month when this episode was filmed on March 4, 1969. Dick York had left the show by this time and until they found a replacement, the writers had Darrin as being "away on business".
