All of the constant bickering between Darrin and Endora is driving Samantha to distraction. Samantha sees her mother as being the main problem so Endora promises that she will try harder to get along with Darrin in the future and tries to settle their differences. Naturally, things don't turn out well and Endora ends up putting a spell on Darrin that makes him shrink little by little during the course of the day. Eventually, he is so tiny that he can barely be seen and almost becomes lunch for the Kravitz's dog! To top it all off, while hiding in a dirty old jar, he ends up being taken to the garbage dump!
It's not a good idea to allow Endora to give you gifts or do anything for you when you happen to be Darrin Stephens!
A fairly average episode but Agnes Moorehead as Endora is always great to watch. I do miss Marion Lorne as Aunt Clara though.moreless

When Samantha and Darrin are in the shot, the mug and Darrin are as big as the telephone, making an unusually large mug. When there is a closeup on Darrin, he and the mug are considerably smaller than the telephone, making an unusually small mug. When the Kravitzes' dog comes into the kitchen, the mug is no longer near the telephone, and Darrin's small stature could not have moved it.
