Samantha, like most young women, is fond of nice clothes and her mother has a passion for all things French so the two of them take a quick trip to Paris to view the latest work of French designer, Aubert. (Richard Gautier)

When they arrive home, Samantha wears one of Aubert's designs to a function and is admired by all the women present but she has to tell them that she made it herself because she knows that Darrin will be furious if he finds out where it actually came from as he genuinely thinks she made the garment by hand.

A problem or two arises when some of the women ask Samantha to whip up some designs for them and she very reluctantly agrees, even though she has no idea how to sew without using witchcraft, which is exactly what she does, again, without Darrin's knowledge.

The women are thrilled with the results, but the same cannot be said for Aubert when he pays a visit to the US and sees the woman wearing his original designs! Aubert has never 'made it' in America, but that soon changes when he is made to understand that he needs tomake clothes for the 'average American woman' which he does, and is an instant success.moreless
