  • Episodes featuring Cousin Serena are always good for a laugh, and this one is no exception.

Serena finds herself in a spot of bother when her powers are taken away from her due to her usual high jinks. When she comes to visit Samantha, her cousin is somewhat sympathetic. The good news is that Serena's latest entanglement looks like it could have possibilities. The bad news is that Darrin's firm is involved which could be potentially disasterous.

Knowing that she must help, Samantha contacts the witch who took away Serena's powers and gets them restored. Just to add icing to the cake, she sends a romantic spark in the direction of the witch as well.

Elizabeth Montgomery had to use her Serena alter ego quite often after the death of the immensely popular Marion Lorne who played the delightfully dotty Aunt Clara. Serena was a well constructed character and it has been documented in several places that Ms. Montgomery enjoyed the chance to play a dual role, for which she often used the name 'Pandora Spocks'. Quite a fun episode, with some excellent one-liners.moreless
