Endora and Tabatha (Erin Murphy) are having a wonderful time playing with a pony until Samantha insists that Endora remove the animal before Darrin arrives home from work. The only trouble is, Endora informs Samantha that Darrin IS the pony! When Darrin is brought back to his human form, he furiously orders Endora out of the house but he should know that she is not so easily gotten rid of when she places a photograph of herself on his desk that he simply cannot get rid of. Mr.Gregson, an important client, wants to meet Darrin's mother-in-law as they must have a very close relationship if he keeps her photo on his desk. Reluctantly, Darrin agrees but begins to relax a bit when Endora behaves impeccably during an evening at the Stephens' house.
Larry and Louise Tate (David White and Kasey Rogers) are also in attendance and they have a fight about Larry's dislike of Louise's mother. This doesn't please Mr. Gregson, who believes that Darrin should go it alone and open his own advertising agency. Of course, Larry is appalled by this idea and it's left to Samantha to clean up all the emotional mess which has been caused.moreless
Episode Summary

Samantha insists that Endora zap away the new pony for Tabitha before Darrin gets home. Endora tells her not to worry, the pony IS Darrin. Once changed back, Darrin orders Endora out of the house. At the office, Endora sends a "live" framed photo of her that Darrin cannot escape. A client named Mr. Gregson wants to meet Darrin's mother-in-law, who must be a special woman for Darrin to keep her photo on his desk. The dinner goes well, particularly since Endora has become the queen of charm. After witnessing a tiff between the Tates over Larry's mother-in-law, Gregson suggests that Darrin should open his own ad firm. Larry doesn't like this one bit and refuses to speak to Darrin. It's up to Samantha to set things right between Larry and Darrin.moreless
