When Mrs. Stephens asks Samantha if little Tabitha can come and spend the weekend with herself and Frank at their home, Samantha is less than enthusiastic, worried that Tabitha will perform witchcraft while there and cause all sorts of problems. Endora isn't too keen on the idea either, but that is mainly because she can't stand Darrin's mother!

Phyliis is less than pleased when Samantha agrees to the weekend visit but both she and Endora end up coming along as well. This eventuality causes a lot of disagreement among the adults and the fighting upsets young Tabitha who decides to get away from it all and disappears.

A boring episode but it must be said that, for me, any episode which features Darrin's mother is a very boring one, unless there are others, such as Aunt Clara or Serena to make them better.moreless

    • Dick York does not appear in this episode. It was filmed on February 3, 1969, when Elizabeth Montgomery was five months pregnant.

    ADD ALLUSIONS
    • When Endora asks, "They're not by chance from an Alice B. Toklas recipe?" she alludes to Alice B. Toklas who published a cookbook in 1954 containing 300 recipes. Some were hers while others came from friends. One such recipe, given to her by Brion Gysin, was entitled "Haschich Fudge," which famously included marijuana as an ingredient.
